Gymnasium Sound Install in Tonbridge

Well the guys from Old Barn Audio don’t go in a gym very often but thought they would make an exception with The SCI in Tonbridge! The SCI, Strength and Conditioning Institute is a top class gym who offer nutritional information and set programmes for each member. They contacted Old Barn Audio to enquire about a gymnasium sound install; as with all their quality equipment and experts within the company, they wanted a first class job done.

The brief that the guys at SCI gave Old Barn Audio was that they wanted seamless background music throughout their Tonbridge venue; including the reception, throughout the gym areas and they also wanted it to be operated from any location throughout the gymnasium.

Old Barn Audio chose to install 4 x Martin Audio CDD5 micro speakers, 2 per zone, from the CDD Series of speakers that are very current and deliver more consistent audience coverage.

Due to their compact size, the CDD5 speaker is perfectly designed for discreet positioning in venues such as bars, museums, foyers and of course gymnasiums!

These 5″ speakers have worked exceptionally well in the gymnasium and, using a system called NUVO; a wireless media player that can be synced from an IOS device such as iPad, iPhone or even MP3 player, memory stick or CD player – they offer cutting edge technology. The NUVO amplifier is a 100 watts stereo / channel unit with an on board wi-fi interface.

This all suited the guys at SCI as it made it a really easy speaker system to use. They now have a great gymnasium sound install, discreet but extremely efficient speakers that they operate from wherever they are in the gym.
