Bedgebury Park Equestrian Centre install Martin Audio
Gabriella Atkinson, owner and Canadian entrepreneur, has awarded Old Barn Audio the contract to install two Martin Audio systems at The Bedgebury Park Equestrian Centre in Kent.
One of the only equestrian centre’s in the South East to have two sand arena’s, Bedgebury Park have decided to invest in the new sound systems to enhance what already is a first class centre for all riding activities. The twin Martin Audio systems, designed by Neil Kavanagh of Old Barn Audio, will be centrally controlled by a BSS BLU-100 processor and powered by Martin Audio’s MA range of amplifiers. The BSS unit offers immense routing flexibility for both arenas to be run independently or connected, to suit whatever environment or event is required. All of the speaker enclosures will be flown from custom made brackets from the canopy structure of the building.
The initial ideas and brief given to Old Barn Audio by Emma McGurk, Equine Manager at Bedgebury Park, was to ensure that ‘Riding to Music’ was achievable and all parts of the arenas were covered with full-range sound. Consequently, due to the large size of the arena floor, all time-alignment will be carried out within the BSS BLU-100 to ensure seamless coverage of audio.
The install will be carried out in July 2012.
