Horsmonden Village Hall

Old Barn Audio were approached by Horsmonden Parich Council as they were looking for a sound system for their local hall.

The need was for a simple but effective conference system that would allow all sitting in the hall to hear clearly what is said during meetings. The system was also to have a microphone for each delegate plus a chairperson’s microphone. With a priority feature to offer the chairman full control as required.

The conference system audio was also required to be relayed to a separate installed audio system. With speakers arrayed to cover all parts of the hall as necessary.

The separate audio system could then be used by the general public hiring the hall. This would allow music players / microphones etc. to be plugged in as required, for other activities within this countryside village hall.

In total, Old Barn Audio installed:

• 4 x Martin Audio CDD5 loudspeaker with brackets
• 1 x Public Address Audio Mixer
• 1 x Power Amplifier
• Other ancillaries

4 x Delegate Microphones, including a chairperson’s microphone with priority plus a central control module.
