Island House in Woking

Island House is a fabulous bar and restaurant, situated in Woking, Surrey. Having been influenced by global cuisine and inspired by local producers, their food and cocktail menus combine with music to create something wonderful in this busy town centre.

You can pop in for a coffee, a cocktail or a full blown meal; they welcome you for all.

When they approached Old Barn Audio, they wanted an effective sound system that could play live music, as well as offering background music into each different section of the bar and restaurant. They also have their stunning resident white grand piano…

This was a great project for Old Barn Audio to work on and what they do best. After the quality of food and venue, it really is all about the sound in an establishment such as Island House. Which needs to be exceptional – customers expect nothing less. They have their grand piano in situe and this is regularly being used for live performances; it creates amazing sound through the high quality Martin Audio speakers that have been installed.

Powersoft WM Touch

A WM Touch made by Powersoft has also been installed. This is a PoE fed wall-mounted touch screen that allows control of the music distribution system from a single 4.3’’screen panel. It is an elegant, effective, and intuitive control tool which uses standard ethernet to connect to the amplifiers and can be part of any normal network via RJ45 cable. A great addition to this installation.
