St Barnabas, Southfields

Just before Christmas saw Old Barn Audio very busy with church sound installations. This festive time of year really lends itself to ensuring churches have great sound and video capabilities for their parishioners. And St Barnabas in Southfields was no exception. They required an updated system to ensure all sermons could effectively be heard.

Originally the loop system was to remain, but was ultimately deemed not satisfactory, so Old Barn Audio will be going back to South West London imminently, to install a new one.

Completed to date is an installation of:

• 6 x Martin Audio CDD5 loudspeakers for the Nave
• 2 x Martin Audio CDD5 loudspeakers for the Chancel
• 1 x Martin Audio CDD5 loudspeaker for the creche at the rear
• 1 x Martin Audio CDD5 loudspeaker for the organ loft
• 1 x remote wall mounted volume control for all of the above
• 1 x 240 watt 100-volt power amplifier
• 1 x 12 channel wi-fi audio mixer
• 1 x radio microphone system with lapel fitting
• 1 x radio microphone system with handheld microphone

In total Old Barn Audio installed 12 Martin Audio CDD5 loudspeakers. And the 12-channel wi-fi audio mixer was installed, to be operated via a tablet with iOS or Android.
