Yesterday saw Old Barn Audio driving up to Islington, home of many trendy London foody venues, to The Skinny Kitchen. Islington’s newest healthy eating restaurant where you can just turn up and eat. From vegans, health conscious foodies to body builders; everyone can have a fantastic meal with the Skinny Kitchen.
About The Skinny Kitchen
The Skinny Kitchen offers delicious choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner and coffee as well as cocktails. All in a very calm and relaxing venue, with teal & pink seats and retro lighting; making it a great place to come after work, for coffee, lunch, or to spend the evening with friends.
Originally founded by Lois and Joel Belchem, back in 2014. This chain of eateries was inspired by their joint love of fitness, clean healthy food and Ibiza. Which is where the first Skinny kitchen evolved. Their dream was to open Ibiza’s first healthy food venue and this is exactly what they did. However, it didn’t stop there. With amazing feedback from visitors across the world to their Ibiza sites, expansion plans were put in motion with four locations across Ibiza as well as the UK. Over the years, the Skinny Kitchen has also welcomed many celebrities.
What we installed
And to complement their high quality food and drink, they also wanted a great quality restaurant system, capable of producing exceptional sound. Which is why they got in touch with Old Barn Audio.
In total the new sound system installed consisted of:
- 4 x Martin Audio CDD8 loudspeakers
- 4 x Martin Audio CDD6 Weather Resistant Speakers
- 2 x Crown XLS1502 Amplifiers
- 1 x Crown XLS2502 Amplifier
- 1 x Symetrix Solus 8:8-input 8-output Processor
- 1 x 92 Metal Wall Rack & PDU
- 1 x Symetrix Arc3 Wall Control Panel
With 4 powerful speakers and amps installed internally as well as weather resistant speakers for the outside banquette area, this will ensure The Skinny Kitchen can invite DJs to perform as well as having an effective background music system.
