Differential Directivity Systems

The Martin Audio Differential Directivity Systems combine line array and differential dispersion technologies to provide an advanced solution to the requirement of even coverage over wide angles and medium throw distances.

Martin Audio Wavefront WS18XShort throw horizontal dispersion is 120˚, narrowing to 100˚ as throw increases. The vertical differential directivity, VDQ, creates progressively more HF output as the throw distance increases.

The resultant dispersion pattern is ideally suited to covering audiences located on flat or gradually sloping surfaces.

When additional low end is required the Martin Audio W8VDQ may be pole mounted above a WS18X subwoofer to form a compact, high performance system. If extremes of sub-bass are needed then the W8VDQ proves more than a match for the legendary WS218X.

Martin Audio Differential Directivity Systems – the compact solution.

Martin Audio installations are a massive part of Old Barn Audio’s business, as they have full sub-distributor status.

So in summary, the range of Martin Audio differential directivity systems that are offered at Old Barn Audio are:
