Norwich Arts Centre Streaming Service
With the current climate as it is, many businesses are having to diversify. Some are being really creative and coming up with ways to continue to entertain their customers. So when Norwich Arts Centre got in touch with us about a streaming service, we were only too happy to help!
Due to the venue being a high-light changing environment, we had to choose a broadcast-style PTZ Data Video camera that offers a far better end result in quickly changing light conditions. This was linked to a pro PTZ controller and an Atem Pro BlackMagic encoder which then streams direct to YouTube.
The audio was handled by investing in a new Soundcraft Si mixing console linked with the MADI remote stage box. Having this second desk means that their existing Vi1 supplied in 2019 could be used at FOH whilst the new console could be used at the streaming console or used for monitor mixing side of stage for larger events.
All CAT6 tie lines from stage to FOH were interrupted and wired into a bespoke patch bay enabling them the flexibility of where they operated any of their systems from.
