OHM CT-8

The OHM CT-8, with it’s 8″ driver, is the smallest of the four arrayable full range cabinets in the Total Clarity series from OHM. This passive two way loudspeaker is designed for both install and mobile use, offering great flexibility to suit even the most difficult applications. To maximise the transient response and minimise the heat build up inside the cabinet the crossover has been simplified to adjust only the impedance and the crossover point. The use of external EQ makes it easy to tailor the tonal balance to each individual requirement without compromising the sound quality.

This small loudspeaker is compatible with various CS subwoofers making it easy to adjust the total system performance for all situations.

The speaker comes standard in black and is available in various colours on request.

The OHM CT-8 uses a single OHM 8″ driver unit with 1″ compression driver mounted on a custom design rotable 90(h) x 40(v) degree horn. The horn is mounted in the 90(h) x 40(v) degree position as standard. When rotated into 40(h) x 90(v) degree together with 20 degree side wall angle true seamless point source arrays can be created.

Phase and impedance corrected crossover networks are designed for high power applications and the use of external EQ provides unrivalled tonal balance and transient response. Used with the CS subwoofers these systems will provide a very high SPL with total clarity.

There are 6 off mounting points for flexible array and flying options 3 for Brownline compatible flying points 2 x top, and 1 x on the bottom of the rear of the cabinet. The other 3 take M10 flying eyelets 1 x on each side and 1 x on the bottom. The bottom of the cabinet has the omni point where the top hat is fitted as standard to allow stand mounting. The top hat can be replaced with the the tilt and turn adaptor for wall, stand and truss mounting.
