Since 1995 Powersoft has been developing breakthrough technologies that have changed the landscape of professional audio. A pioneer in switched-mode technology, Powersoft has made Class-D reliable and effective, as a matter of fact improving its performances to a level unheard of before and making it widely accepted as industry standard.
Alongside the switched-mode technology that Powersoft has introduced, other patented technologies that increased the efficiency of its amplifiers, such as Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), Power Factor Correction (PFC), Differential Pressure Control (DPC) and Smart Rails Management (SRM).
All these technologies, aimed at improving efficiency, and consequently reducing power consumption, are now part of Powersoft’s design philosophy called Green Audio Power. With this kind of approach Powersoft contributes to environmental sustainability, thanks to smaller, lighter and more efficient amplifiers. This equates to lower electricity bills but also lower carbon footprint, and as a result a smaller impact on the environment. Powersoft extends the Green Audio Power philosophy to its production and assembly, through eco-friendly production sites and the use of natural energy such as solar power.
Strongly believing in the effectiveness of integrating technologies rather than focusing on a single stage of the audio chain, Powersoft started to research in the field of electromechanical transduction in order to develop new methods and devices able to fully exploit the capabilities of Class-D, such as the DPC and M-Force technologies.
